Lots of goings on in November this year...
Firstly, it was our wedding anniversary. I bought Tim some wrought iron/recycled ostriches which are out door pieces... However, we have kept them in our bedroom for a while. There is a 3rd one in the set which is bigger than the other 2, but am waiting for them to come into store.
To give you an idea of the size here is Zoe!
Zoe got dressed in her swimmers so that I could take photos of her!
She also wanted to show you a flip-flop animal that fits on the end of a pencil which is Zane's for doing his homework!
Here is some of the actual detail of the piece:
Another one of my purchases was a basket at the Masai Market at Village Market. Another brilliant bit of me bargaining (well me not changing my price & then walking away to be pulled back for them to accept that price). It is a vibrant pink colour with some fantastic beadwork.
Here is the bead work in detail:
And for most of November I chose pink roses for the houses. They were beautiful & last so well. Most bunches here last at least a week after buying.
Another purchase which was needed was a new umbrella as we have been experiencing the "short" wet season... So I picked up a fantastic rainbow umbrella from Nakumatt. Total cost just over $5!
